Avoiding Language Difficulties

Having learned my lesson in the recette for Matefaim avec Pommes where I confused le mot français, sucre en poudre with le mot anglais, "powdered" or "confectioners" sugar, when in fact le mot français means GRANULATED sugar, and because I frequently post recipes for tartes, I want to make certain that you, gentle readers, don't confuse eating une tarte with (uh, whatever it is that you do with) a tart! I don't want you needlessly getting into trouble over language difficulties! Not all mots français have direct equivalents en anglais! Louis la Vache, always looking out for the Public Interest.
